RealSmart's Technicians with ICC General Manager and Staff
IN Sep. 2008, RealSmart's technicians went to South Africa to install the latest high-speed computerized wrapping machines for ICC (Invisible Card Company), which is a leading SA manufacturer and exporter of specialized printed products throughout Africa.
REALSMART, a famous smart card & RFID company in China, now has 3 core business directions --- chip &smart card, RFID products, card related equipment.
While RealSmart supply machines to hundreds of Chinese businesses, and export to the US, this is its first venture into Africa.
This stemmed from an ICC visit to a print and packaging show in Europe earlier this year, when General Manager Donavan Smart identified RealSmart's machinery as more cost-effective than traditional European or American alternatives.
"The combination of apparent quality, sturdiness and price appealed to us," says Smart,"but we needed to be convinced on quality and suitability."
The quality was borne out when he and ICC engineer Gabor Nagy, later visited China and ran extensive tests on the machines with ICC's own materials.
"We were also concerned about language and communication, and it was a bonus to find that English is well understood and spoken by our counterparts."
Two of RealSmart's top technicians were selected to install the machines and to train ICC staff.
